Arthur Conley – Sweet Soul Music

It’s always nice to be informed about awesome Soul artists that I haven’t heard before. Arthur Conley may have been really popular in 1967 for his hit song “Sweet Soul Music,” but I had not heard of him until today. I look forward to discovering more of his work.

Otis Redding – Satisfaction

My friend instant messaged me this morning with a request for this Rolling Stones cover. Apparently when Keith Richards wrote “Satisfaction” with Mick Jagger he originally intended the guitar line to be played with horns. Well it came out a Rock song with no horns but Otis Redding gives you the Soul version. Enjoy!
