Jason Falkner – My Lucky Day
We haven’t paid too much attention to pop because Your Daily Song Fix focuses more on unknown music. However, there is certainly great unknown pop music. This particular song is bubble-gummy and dark at the same time. One thing that really popped out at me when I first listened to My Lucky Day, and the entire album – Can You Still Feel, was that the production work is amazing. After a quick google search, I found out Nigel Godrich produced the album which makes complete sense. Nigel was also the producer on Radiohead’s O.K. Computer which unarguably has great production work.
